Robyn Tsinnajinnie, A Shared Experience

March 22nd - July 27th, 2024

Girls Night Out Sketch

At the heart of Tsinnajinnie’s new collection lies the foundational idea of introducing viewers to the intricacies of the world Tsinnajinnie constructs through her paintings. Offering a glimpse into a realm where women confront challenging issues and assert control over their surroundings, these artworks serve as a gateway to empowerment.

Each of the four paintings showcased here presents a unique setting and scenario, reflecting experiences that women universally encounter. Through her art, Tsinnajinnie endeavors to provide a means for healing, both for herself and her audience, by visually articulating these shared struggles.

This exhibition, Robyn Tsinnajinnie, A Shared Experience, features previously unseen sketches that showcase Tsinnajinnie’s works progression and thoughtful placements. She meticulously selects and arranges figures within her compositions, weaving powerful narratives. Tsinnajinnie notes, “I create shapes and shadows with color and, more importantly, convey feeling through my color palettes. After sorting through everything, the painting starts to evolve.”

K Art invites you to join us for the opening reception of the solo exhibition, Robyn Tsinnajinnie, A Shared Experience at K Art Gallery, on March 22nd at 6 pm. Experience the captivating evolution of her sketches into stunning final artwork alongside a unique pink Hefeweizen Beer, aptly named ‘Pink Ladies,’ inspired by her bold color palette.
